| Death is but a gentle passage to my heavenly home. Christians should actually look forward to that journey with eager anticipation, not as an ending, but as the glorious final beginning. The grave has no more sting and death has lost its victory. Praise the Lord! My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ died in my stead so that I may live with Him forever! God loved me so much that He instituted this remarkable plan to save me and all mankind from the beginning, even from the first bite of the forbidden fruit in Eden . . . God loved me - even then - so much that He planned for part of Himself, His only Son, to die a cruel human death . . . to allow satan three days to revel in what he thought was victory -- then Christ crushed satan's head with a blow of resurrection . . . and satan is still writhing in hate to this day. Don't you see, my friend? It's all so crystal clear, yet we can't see the forest for the trees. It's all spiritual warfare. Satan wants you just because he doesn't want God to have you, not because he cares one iota about you . . . but God wants you because He loves you and always has loved you and always will love you. God is your Father, your Creator . . . a true father's love is for always. Dear God, You amaze me with Your love for me. I thank You for Your true, unconditional, never-ending love and for Your eternal plan for my salvation. In Jesus’ name, Amen. |
