Thank You, Father. Thank You for loving me, hearing me, and answering my prayers. Thank You for being the perfect parent I never had nor ever could be. Just help me become more and more Christ-like every day. Help me be all You have planned for me to be. You have written out the script, You masterminded the plot and You -- only You -- know the outcome . . . just clue me in, one step at a time if that's Your choice, and keep me "in character" for the role You have chosen for me.
My life is Yours, Father. You created me and You have saved me from death, both physical and spiritual, for some purpose or plan. I know that plan is divine and that purpose sacred. I know You've reserved a special place for me in Your Kingdom along with a particular job to do. Just teach me, Lord. Talk to me, Father. Clue me in. Let me know. Make it abundantly clear just what You want me to do. My heart's desire is to love and serve You. But I want to do it according to Your will. So I expectantly wait and watch and diligently pray and listen . . . for Your voice . . . for You, my God, are my life! - In Jesus’ name, amen. |
