I thank You, Lord, for showing me my weaknesses . . . for it's when I am weak that I am truly strong -- in You. It’s only in my weakness, when I admit my dependence on You, that You give me Your strength. You reach down to me with Your mighty right hand and You grasp my weak human hand and transfer Your strength to me, your vessel. I, alone, am nothing . . . only an empty vessel for Your use. Use me O Lord, today and every day, as You will.

Remind me that my only value is in what I hold, what I contain, what I have been given by You for the pouring out unto others. My worth is only that You live within me . . . "for I no longer live, but Christ lives in me." In Jesus’ name, Amen.
