| I'm Thankful I’m thankful for this land in which I live; I’m thankful that I’m blessed so I can give. I’m thankful for freedom that rings loud and true; I’m thankful for old Glory: red, white, and blue. I’m thankful for my country and the privilege of prayer; I’m thankful for fellow Christians who love and really care. I’m thankful for provision and my daily bread; I’m thankful for Jesus, my Savior who bled. I’m thankful to my Lord that He gave His life; I’m thankful for power over pain and strife. I’m thankful Jesus died and took my sin away; I’m thankful He has turned the darkness into day. I’m thankful Jesus loves me, all my sin to bear; I’m thankful, in His glory, now His Kingdom I share. I’m thankful for my heritage and even for my past; I’m thankful for God’s redemption that lasts. I’m thankful for amber waves of grain; I’m thankful for God who gives the rain. I’m thankful for purple mountain’s majesty; I’m thankful that God loves even me. I’m thankful for America the great; I’m thankful for my children and my mate. I’m thankful for the U.S.A.; I’m thankful; in Jesus’ name I pray. by Shari Gunter |
