Greetings! I am Sharylon Faye Johnston-Gunter; please call me Shari. Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life; He has blessed me in many ways. Don and I have been married since November 1992. We have two beautiful daughters. Our younger daughter, Jessica, is married to Tim; they live in Ft. Worth with their two sons, Timothy and Thomas. Christy, our older daughter, is married to Tony, and lives in Sulphur, LA. with their children Luke and Sarah. I truly enjoying being a grandmother!
No longer a teacher of high school English and drama, I now use those talents for the Body of Christ. The Lord gives me songs, writings, and poetry. He also blesses me with messages for His church; some of these I write down, some I deliver personally. The Lord has made it possible for me to speak at small gatherings, classes, retreats, Ladies’ Days, etc. Don and I both travel serving the Lord as He leads.
When at home, I cook, clean and take care of my husband and my older brother, Shawn, who lives with us in Jasper, Texas. I also enjoy reading, writing, making jewelry (I love beads!), enjoying my three Terriers and spending as much time as possible with my adorable grandkids. E-mailing and sending cards is another “ministry” of mine. I find them great tools of encouragement. Please don’t be shy to contact me. I will write back! |
